Each file, folder and partition has a set of permissions in Android file structure & system. Who can view, modify and execute these files depends on the permissions he has. Some users can access the permissions while other users are prevented from accessing them. Rooting device feature is designed for getting the permission as Super Administrator User in Android system. Once you get this privilege, you can do anything for your device. Meanwhile, after rooting device, you can access to Deep Scan function to restore lost important data back to your computer or device directly. First of all, please make sure you have turned on USB debugging option on your Google device. By default, PhoneRescue for Google will detect your device automatically. If you don't connect your device to computer or your device is not recognized, you will see "Please connect your device to start recovery" on the interface.
When you connect android device to Windows computer at the first time, your computer will install USB Driver for your device automatically.
The main interface will show when your device is detected.
Please try these troubleshooting steps to tackle this problem if PhoneRescue for Google fails to detect your device.
After rooting device, PhoneRescue for Google can access all your device data. At the same time, Deep Scan feature will be available once rooting device process finishes. And please make sure the internet connection is stable during the rooting process.
Rooting device process may take a few minutes. Thus, please keep patient.
When rooting device process completes, the below interface will pop up. Then, please click "OK" to Grant the permission of Super Administrator User.
The following interface will show if rooting device process fails. You can continue to root your Google by using the software suggested (KingoRoot and iRoot). Or you can click button to access more free rooting software. If you want to extract device data to computer, please click Quick Scan option. To return the main interface, please click Back button.
