Android utilizes the permissions in the file structure - file, folder and partition having a group of permissions, which determine who can check, edit and execute a file that some user can access while others can't do that due to the permission issue. Rooting device enables you to acquire Super Administrator User in Android system. Once you get that permission, you can do anything for your HTC device. Meanwhile, when you complete rooting device process, you can use Deep Scan function to retrieve the lost data back to your computer or HTC device directly. Firstly, please make sure you have launched USB debugging option on your HTC device. By default, PhoneRescue for HTC will detect your device automatically. If you don't connect your device to computer or your device is not recognized, you will see "Please connect your device to start recovery" on the interface.
When you connect android device to Windows computer at the first time, your computer will install USB Driver for your device automatically.
The interface will pop up after PhoneRescue for HTC detects your device.
If PhoneRescue for HTC fails to detect your device, you may refer to these troubleshooting steps to solve the issue.
It is necessary to root device if you want to use Deep Scan feature in PhoneRescue for HTC. Meanwhile, please make sure the internet connection is stable during the rooting process.
While PhoneRescue for HTC starts rooting device, the interface below will appear. At the same time, it will take a few minutes to root device. Please be patient.
The messages below will pop up after rooting device successfully. To continue the further operation, please click "OK" option.
If rooting process fails, the below interface will show. You can use the software recommended (KingoRoot and iRoot) to root HTC device. Or please click the button to get more free rooting software to root your HTC device. If you want to export HTC device data to computer, please click Quick Scan option. To click Back button, you can return to main interface.
