To begin with, please make sure you have launched USB debugging option on your SONY device. By default, PhoneRescue for SONY will detect your device automatically. If you don't connect your device to computer or your device is not recognized, you will see "Please connect your device to start recovery" on the interface.
When you connect android device to Windows computer at the first time, your computer will install USB Driver for your device automatically.

Rooting device lets PhoneRescue for SONY access your device data thoroughly. And the Deep Scan feature will be available after finishing rooting process. In the meantime, please ensure that the internet connection is stable during the rooting process.

After finishing rooting device, the interface will show. Please click "OK" to go on the further operation.
The interface below will display if rooting device process is unsuccessful. If you encounter this situation, please use the software recommended (KingoRoot and iRoot) to root your SONY device.
