Step 1: Press the icon of the app you want to delete. When the context menu appears, some shortcuts of the app will be displayed.

Step 3: Click “X” on the top-left corner of the icon and select the Delete button.

Step 4: Tap “Done”(iPhone X and later) or press the Home button (iPhone 8 Plus and before) to finish.

Step 5: Or, you can long-press on the icon, the context menu will appear but ignore it. Just keep pressing and holding for more than three seconds. This will take you directly into jiggle mode and click “X” to delete.

  1. iOS 10 and later enable us to remove some built-in apps. But you should know there are still some default apps that you cannot delete, including Messages, Phone, Settings, Safari, Clock, Camera, Photos, App Store, Health, Wallet and Find iPhone.
  2. If you failed to delete apps, please check whether you Don’t Allow Deleting Apps (for iOS 12 and later). Allow deleting apps: simply go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & privacy restrictions > iTunes & App stores purchases > Deleting Apps > Allow.

Removing apps from App Store is only available for the app updated recently or upcoming updates.

How to Uninstall Apps on iOS 13 from Settings
