This method only works if you have iOS 9.1 or above on your iPhone/iPad.
Open the mail app on your iPhone/iPad and then, navigate to the inbox. After that, click on the “Edit“ option which is at the top-right.
Select the emails that you want to delete and then, click on the “Trash” option, which is at the bottom-right of mail app to send all the emails to trash that you want to remove.
After sending all the emails to the Trash folder, then you can easily delete or clear all the emails by navigating to the trash box.
Another method to delete multiple emails on your iDevice is by moving your all desired emails that you want to remove to another folder. The process to delete multiple emails on iPhone via moving them is somehow same as above method. With this method, you can even delete all your inbox emails with great ease as compared to the above method. Follow the below simple steps on how to delete multiple emails on iPad/ iPhone:
Run the mail app on your iDevice and then, move to the inbox. Thereafter, tap on the “Edit” as shown in the figure.
After that, select all the emails that you want to delete from mail app and then, tap on the “Move” which is placed at the bottom-center position.
Now, list of folders will be listed and you need to select one where you want to move your all selected emails to.
Go to Trash folder and tap on the Delete All button to completely delete the selected emails in the folder.
If you want to delete all the emails from iPhone mail app, then just select one email and then, click on the “Move”. Uncheck the email that you have selected, but keep holding the “Move”.
Once you deselect the email, release your fingers and you will be navigated to a new page. Here, tap on Trash to move all emails to the trash folder and then, clear all the emails from Trash box.
