• In PhoneTrans Function Buttons area, you can pick up a file first, and choose one option from:

  Click to refresh the File List Window	To add music onto device from computer
  Remove files from device	Transfer files onto computer hard drive

• In File List Window, all media information will appear here, such as Name, Time, Artist, Album, Genre, Rating, Play counts, Size, etc.
• Select a media classification button to view its content.

• To export or delete iPhone songs by right-clicking on the mouse.

  

Part 3: How to Export Music from iPhone (iPad, iTouch) to Computer

Step 1: Connect your iPhone (iPad, iPod touch) to the computer. PhoneTrans can only support only one device at once. To manage unlimited devices at the same time, please upgrade to PhoneTrans Pro version.

Step 2: After plugging in your iPhone (iPad, iPod touch), you will find it on the left side Media Classification Buttons. Click Music tab to access the songs list window.

Step 3: To pick up the songs from the library, you can use PhoneTrans Filter feature to locate them.

Step 4: Click Export button and set the destination for your music; click OK to start transferring music from iPhone to computer for free.

Tips:

1. Make sure the target output folder has enough vacant space.

2. Regularly PhoneTrans will transfer over 7000 songs in only about 25 minutes, but the transferring speed also depends on USB cable, computer hard disk format, as well as other external factors.

Part 4: How to Import Music to iPhone (iPad, iPod touch) from Computer

Importing music to iPhone (iPad, iPod touch) is easy with PhoneTrans. Just click Import > Highlight the songs > OK. The reason for using PhoneTrans to add music is that, unlike iTunes Sync, it will not erase the original music.

Tips: Please make sure the files you uploaded are supported by iPhone, iPad, iPod touch.

App Transfer is a new feature of PhoneTrans Version 2.0. You can choose the Applications tab > Select Apps your want to delete or export to computer > right click the mouse and you'll have Delete and Export two options. To import Apps, it is similar with importing music files. And PhoneTrans will auto install it on your device.
