After changing your phone, you may want to transfer a certain kind of data to the new phone. So it’s important to back up the source device. PhoneTrans can selectively back up the data you want with just a few clicks. Please refer to the following guide to make good use of PhoneTrans.
Once you open PhoneTrans, please click Phone Backup – Selective Backup option. And then click button.
By default, PhoneTrans will detect your iOS or Android device automatically. If you don’t connect iOS or Android device to computer or your iOS or Android device is not recognized, then the interface below will display.
Once your iOS or Android device is recognized, the interface below will display.
1. If PhoneTrans fails to recognize your iOS device, please follow these troubleshooting steps to solve the issue.

Please confirm the device you want to backup and the backup destination. After taht, please click button.
After clicking button, please choose the data you want to backup.
Once you choose the data category you’d like to transfer, please click the to start backing up. It may take some time to complete the back up process based on the amount of device data. Please keep patient.
Once the backup process completes, the interface “Backup complete” below will display. You can also check the size of the Selective Backup. If you want to back to the previous page, then please click option.
