The app is called Phone Clone and it is available at no cost on the Google Play Store. To use the app, all you need to do is install it on both your source and target devices. Then, you can use the transfer feature given in the app to start moving your data from one device to another. The good thing about the phone is that your source device does not have to be a Huawei phone. It could be a Samsung device as well.

The following are the steps that need to be followed to transfer contacts from Samsung to Huawei using the aforesaid app.

Step 1. Launch the Google Play Store app on both your Samsung and Huawei phones and get the Phone Clone app installed. It should not take more than a minute.

Step 2. Open the app on both of your devices. On your Huawei phone, tap on This is the new phone.

Step 3. On your Samsung device, tap on This is the old phone.

Step 4. A QR code will be displayed on your Huawei phone. What you need to do is use the scanner that is opened on your Samsung phone to scan the code on your Huawei phone.

Step 5. Once the code is scanned, you will be able to select the data to transfer to your new device. Since you are looking to transfer your contacts, tick-mark the Contacts option at the top and tap on Transfer at the bottom.

Step 6. The app will start transferring your contacts from your old phone to your new phone.

It will let you know when your contacts have been successfully moved to your Huawei device.

It is called AnyTrans for Android and it is one of the best apps you can ever get to transfer contents, including contacts, from one device to another.
