Mirroring your iPhone to your Windows-based PC allows you to view the content of your iOS device on your computer screen. There are various ways to do it and our guide below covers three ways to do screen mirroring from iPhone to PC.
Transfer, backup and manage iOS content in a smart way
Available for both Win & Mac
Apple has lately been bringing some of the really large-screen iPhone models. If you own an iPhone whose name ends with an S, you likely have a large screen on your device. These screens make it easy for you to view the content on your device, as everything from the little details in your photos to the website texts will look more clear.
However, these phone screens cannot be compared with the large screen of a computer. Sometimes, you may want to view the entire content of your iPhone on your Windows PC. While you can always transfer the content from your device to your computer and then view it, there is a better way to do it thanks to a few third-party tools.
Screen mirroring allows you to view your current iPhone screen and its content on your computer screen in real-time. Any interactions you make on the phone will instantly reflect on your computer screen.
One of the software that lets you do this on a Windows PC is called LonelyScreen. It lets users mirror their iOS devices to their computers. You can use it too to have your content shown on a really large screen of your PC.
Step 1. Head over to the LonelyScreen website and download and install the software on your computer.
Step 2. At one point during the installation, you will be asked for firewall permissions. Checkmark the first option in the list and click on the Allow access button at the bottom. The software will automatically launch once it is installed.
Step 3. On your iPhone, open the Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of your iPhone’s screen. Then, find and tap on the AirPlay option.
Step 4. You will see LonelyScreen as one of the AirPlay devices on the list. Tap on it to connect to it.
You are all set. Your iPhone screen should now be visible on your computer screen. That is how you do screen mirroring on a Windows 10 PC.
Mirroring360 is yet another software that allows you to view the contents of your iOS-based devices such as your iPhone and iPad on your Windows PC. It works pretty much the same way as the above software but this one is available for more operating systems.
Step 1. The first thing you are going to need to do is to download the software from the Mirroring360 website. Then, install the software on your system.
Step 2. Once you have got the software up and running on your computer, it is time to configure your iPhone to make the connection. On your device, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to access Control Center. Then, tap on AirPlay.
Step 3. Choose your computer from the AirPlay list. Your iPhone screen will appear on your computer screen.
The procedure establishes the connection between your iPhone and your computer and lets you view the screen contents. If you ever encounter any issues and you cannot get it to work, try the Mirroring Assist app from the iOS App Store to troubleshoot the issues.
If you have used the above software to mirror your iPhone to your computer, you have noticed that those software are pretty old-fashioned. They do not have all the bells and whistles that you might expect from the software of this day and age.
Fortunately, there is one software that has it all. Enter AnyTrans for iOS, which would enable you to use AirPlay on your Windows PC with all the modern features and minimal effort. All that you must have is both of your devices connected to the same WiFi network and you are all set.
Here is how you go about mirroring your iPhone to your Windows PC using the aforementioned software:
Step 1. Head over to the AnyTrans for iOS website and download and install the software on your computer.
Step 2. Launch the software on your computer and click on the option that says Screen Mirroring in the left sidebar.
Step 3. Connect both your Windows PC and your iPhone to the same WiFi network, if they are not already.
Step 4. On your iPhone, swipe up from the bottom to launch Control Center. Tap on the option that says AirPlay and select AnyTrans from the list.
Your iPhone will connect to the AnyTrans for iOS software on your computer. Then, you will be able to view your iPhone screen on your Windows PC. If you notice, all that the app asked you to do was connect your devices to the same network and you were able to get the task done.
There are several ways to mirror an iPhone to a Windows PC and the above guide covers three of those ways for you. These ways utilize the AirPlay feature on the iPhone to let you view your device screen on your computer.
