Step 1. Select From System Crashed Device Mode.

Download and install DroidKit on your computer. Then, launch DroidKit on your computer and choose “From System Crashed Device” mode.

Step 2. Select Data You Want to Extract from System Crashed Device.

“From System Crashed Device” mode can extract 13 types of data from system crashed Android device. By default, it has checked all the file types. You can just select the type of data that you'd like to extract. And then please click “Start” button.

Step 3. Put Your Device into Recovery Mode.

Please refer to instructions as interface to put your Android device into recovery mode. Then, please click “Next” button.

Device without Home Button:

1. Press and hold the {Power button} to power off the device.

2. Press and hold {Volume Up +Power button} at the same time.

3. Release the button after the Samsung logo appears.

4. When the Recovery screen appears, click the button below.

Step 4. Find And Enter the PDA Code of Your Samsung Device.

DroidKit will access the PDA code of your Samsung Device. Please enter the PDA code in the box. After that, please click “Download Firmware” button.

Step 5. Download Firmware Package.

The program starts downloading the firmware package. Please keep your device connected all the time.

Step 6. Fix the Android System of System Crashed Device.

After downloading and verifying the firmware, please click Fix Now button. Then, please put your device into Download Mode. There are two ways to put your device in Download mode – device without Home button and device with Home button. Please choose one way based on your device status.

After putting your device in Download mode, please click “Next” button. If your device failed to be detected, our software will ask you to disconnect and reconnect your device to computer and put your device to the Download mode again.

Then, it will automatically start repairing your Android system. Please wait for a moment.After completing the fixing process, you will see the interface below. And your Android device will be restarted.

Step 7. Connect Your Android Device to Computer.

Once your device is detected, you will see the interface below. Then, please click “Next” button.

Step 8. Scan out Your Data Quickly.

DroidKit will scan the existed and deleted data from your Android device quickly.

Step 9. Preview the Data Scanned out.

After completing the scanning process, you can preview the data scanned out.

Step 10. Extract the Data from System Crashed Device.

You can choose the data scanned out to extract “To Device” or “To PC”.
