Step 1. Download DroidKit on Your Computer.
Before you start the transfer, get the tool downloaded onto your computer. Please make sure the network is stable while downloading and installing DroidKit on your computer.
Step 2. Connect Your Android Device to the Computer via a USB Cable.
Please launch DroidKit on your computer and choose Device Manager mode under Data Manager function.

Then, please click “Start” button.

Please connect Android device to computer via the USB cable, and make sure you have enabled USB debugging option on your device. By default, DroidKit will detect your Android device automatically. Once your device is detected, you will see the interface below.

If DroidKit is unable to recognize your Android device with USB cable, you may try these troubleshooting steps to solve this problem.
Step 3. Select the Data You Want to Transfer.
After clicking Add Content button, a window will pop out for you to add files from computer to Android device. If the files can be transferred, they will show as selectable. If not, the files will show as grey.

Step 4. Wait for the Transferring Process.
The time to transfer contents varies based on the size of your contents. Please keep patient. Meanwhile, given the importance of your data, please do not disconnect your Android device before finishing transferring process for avoiding any possibility of data loss.

6. How do I transfer files from my computer to an Android device with DroidKit?
a. Download and install DroidKit on your computer, then launch the program.
b. Select Data Manager, choose Device Manager, and click Start.
c. Connect your Android device to the computer using a USB cable and enable USB debugging.
d. Once your device is detected, click Add Content.
e. Select the files you want to transfer from your computer.
f. Wait for the transfer to finish, and keep your device connected throughout the process.
7. Can I transfer multiple files to my Android device at once?
Yes. You can select multiple supported files to transfer in one session. The time required depends on the number and size of the files.
8. Can I transfer any file format from my computer to Android?
No. DroidKit supports specific file types, including photos, audio, videos, contacts, documents, books, ZIP files, and APK files. Unsupported file types may appear unavailable for selection.
9. Can I use DroidKit's Add Content feature for free?
Yes. The free version allows you to transfer up to 50 items. To transfer more items without this limit, you need the Pro version.
10. What should I do if DroidKit cannot detect my Android device or transfer files?
Make sure your USB cable is working properly, your device is unlocked, and USB debugging is enabled. Try reconnecting your device and following the on-screen instructions again. Do not disconnect your device during the transfer. If the issue persists, contact iMobie Support for further assistance.
