Step 1. Download AnyTrans on Your Computer.
Before you start to clean the gray app icon, get the tool downloaded and installed on your computer. Please make sure the network is stable while downloading and installing AnyTrans on your computer.
Step 2. Connect Your iOS Device to the Computer via a USB Cable.
By default, AnyTrans will detect your iOS device automatically. If you don’t connect your iOS device to computer or your iOS device isn’t recognized, you will see the interface as below.

Once the data is loaded completely, the interface below will display. And please click Home Screen Manager button.

Step 3. Click Clean Gray App Icon Option.
After clicking Home Screen Manager button, the interface below will pop up. And please click Clean Gray App Icon option.

After clicking Clean Gray App Icon option, the interface below will display. And please select the gray app icon.

Step 4. Click Delete Button to Remove Gray App Icon.
After selecting the gray app icon you want to remove, please click Delete button to remove gray app icon.
Click the Delete button
Step 5. Clean Gray App Icon Successfully.
Once you clean the gray app icon successfully, the gray app icon will disappear from the interface. Go back to the previous interface by clicking Back button.
