Before using the Windows version of AnyTrans, you're supposed to download the iTunes on your computer to help detect iPhone/iPad/iPod touch. (iTunes 9.0 or above, including the latest iTunes.)

Step 1. Download and Install AnyTrans on Your Computer.
Before you start to manage your duplicates, get the tool downloaded onto your computer.Please make sure the network is stable while downloading and installing AnyTrans on your computer.
Step 2. Connet Your Device to Computer with the USB Cable.
By default, AnyTrans will detect your iOS device automatically. If you don’t connect your iOS device to computer or your iOS device is not recognized, you will see the interface as below.

Once your iOS device is recognized, the interface below will display.

1. This function can only support iOS 16 and later.
2. If AnyTrans fails to recognize your iOS device, you may try these troubleshooting steps to solve this problem.
Step 3. Select Duplicates Option.
Once you unfold the Photos option, you will see the Duplicates option. After the loading process is completed, it will display the photos on the right of the Duplicates icon. If it shows empty in this icon, it indicates that there is no photo in device.

Step 4. Select the Photos You Want to Merge.
This guide takes merging duplicates as an example. Once the loading process is completed, please choose the photos you want to merge.

Step 5. Merge Duplicates on iOS Device.
After you choose the photos, you can click Merge button to merge duplicates. You also can:
To PC: Transfer duplicates from device to computer.
To Device: Transfer duplicates between iOS devices.
More: Unfold more functions.
Refresh: Refresh the interface to load duplicates correctly.
Delete: Delete unwanted duplicates.
Upload: Upload duplicates to iCloud.

Once the merging process is completed, you will see Merge Completed Page. And it will load the photos automactically again.
