Tip 1. Restart.
You are suggested to reboot your iPhone. After you restarting your device, run Photos app and see whether photos come back on your iPhone. This is one simple and basic tip everyone can have a try although it may not work.
Tip 2. iCloud Account
If your iCloud photos disappeared from your iPhone, firstly you should check whether you login iCloud account correctly. If you have logged in, you can log out your iCloud accout and then login it on your iPhone, which may get your photos back.
Tip 3. iCloud Photo Sync.
Our iCloud photos will disappear from iPhone if we turn off iCloud Photo Sync or disable My Photo Stream or iCloud Photo Library on iPhone. So you should make sure that you have enable this features.

To turn on My Photo Stream or iCloud Photo Library: Go to Settings > iCloud > Photos. Notice that you should connect your device to Wifi if you want to turn on iCloud Photo Library, and "My Photo Stream" album will disappear if you turn on iCloud Photo Library, but don't worry, all pictures on My Photo Stream will be transferred to "All Photos" album together with all Camera Roll pictures (Of course, the Camera Roll album will be replaced by All Photos).
Tip 4. Recently Deleted Album.
Since iOS 8, there is one built-in album named "Recently Deleted" in Photos app on your iPhone or iPad. This album will store the photos you recently deleted for 30 days before they are permanently deleted. So check whether there are some missing photos on "Recently Deleted" folder.

Tip 5. Restore from iTunes/iCloud.
If you have created an iPhone backup with iTunes or iCloud, you have a big chance to get back your disappeared pictures by restoring your iPhone from the backup. But you should know that your iPhone data would be erased and replaced by backup data in this method.
